“The flexibility of Telviva One was perfect for Project Hope as it gave us the ability to manage calls and control costs, as well as a single number that all employees could respond to on their mobile phones. This made it an easier decision than going for cell phone contracts which can become expensive. In addition, working with AnD Communications was an easy and quick process. Their staff helped to get the service set up quickly and provided us with the guidance we needed to get started. Telviva One is the ideal solution for any organisation no matter how small – or big – they are,”

Customer: Project Hope
Project Hope is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) based in KwaZulu-Natal that empowers children in South Africa to live an outstanding early childhood. Working primarily in the field, in the Valley of a Thousand Hills, the organisation works in the areas of education, nutrition, health and wellbeing in order to significantly improve the level of education amongst children up to the age of five years.
Working with several pre-schools, Project Hope strives to ensure that by the time children from local communities reach Grade R, they are well equipped and have their wellbeing taken care of to ensure a healthy and prosperous learning experience.
When Project Hope was started, all telephone communications were carried out using personal cell phones, which became costly and no longer viable as the organisation grew. In addition, providing cell phone contracts for staff members would result in additional expenses for devices and the potential for bill shock, as well as fragmentation in the organisation’s communications.
What was required was a cost-effective communications solution that provided Project Hope with the control, flexibility and mobility that it required.
Project Hope selected Telviva One, which synchronises fixed-line and mobile voice, video and chat in a single platform, for their official business communications. Telviva One is cloud-based, meaning that there was no need for any costly on-premise PBX hardware, while employees could download the app and make use of their own mobile devices, which made it far more cost-effective and convenient.
In addition, AnD Communications, a Telviva subsidiary based in KwaZulu-Natal, sponsored the Telviva One setup fees, further reducing the implementation costs for the NGO. The NGO also turned to Telviva to provide it with uncapped fixed-mobile connectivity at its office in Hillcrest.
By switching to Telviva One, Project Hope now has a single number that can be advertised to the public, which employees can answer from their mobile phones using the app, whether they are in the office or in the Valley, ensuring that no call goes unanswered.
Employees can also use the Telviva Mobile app when making calls related to their work with Project Hope.
Telviva One seamlessly synchronises fixed-line and mobile voice, video, and chat, on our all-in-one communications platform. It also enables integration with your back-end systems and processes. Find out how Telviva One can help your business.
